ok i really don’t understand why so many people are obsessed with this book. and i also don’t understand what the big attraction is to edward. he’s just a fictitious vampire. how is that attractive?

the media decides to focus on one person in particular, then the rest of the world follows because it’s too scared to question. lame if you ask me.
I think the Twilight books are poorly written teenage soft porn. I don’t get it either. I tried to read the first one, which everybody was raving about, and couldn’t get through the first half. The reviews for the movie were horrific, so I didn’t even bother.
because the actor in the movie is hott! edwards character in the book is what every girl look for in their perfect man.

And vampires are naturally seductive creatures, so what girl hasn’t dreamed about vampires.
Basically that’s my view on it. I’m not obsessed, nor do I like Twilight, but I absolutely love Vampire Knight.
Come on, who wouldn’t love a poorly written book filled with plots holes, linear characters with no real back story and a lame storyline filled with so many cliched romance moments that you would gag on it.

I have no idea why people love him so much, but it’s mostly little girls so I guess it’s that they just don’t have anyone else to obsess over yet…
Edward Cullen is a gentleman, he is just a fantasy.
thats why we love him. some people are into in some people arent, everyone has their own interests. why do people like certain books? cause i dont know they just do.

i have no idea.
though i have to admit, i used to really like the book series about 3 years ago. like i was also really addicted to Twilight also. But now that i look back and attempt to read the books again, i can’t get myself to finish it. Now that i read it again, it doesnt seem that good. I think that Bella, the main character, is really pathetic. I am not going to lie. And some of the romance stuff is just too mushy gushy to me.
Aside from that, i also think the movie wasn’t produced well either. There were lots of things added, missing, changed around, and everything else inbetween. Some things weren’t clarified also which gave some people that i knew having a hard time understanding whats going on [at least the ones that didn't read the book].
Now that Twilight has becoming so much more popular and has been something that people have been talking about for over 2 years [literally] i cannot take it anymore. I do not like Twilight Fan. I don’t care if someone else or my friends or people in general like Twilight, i just would like to go through my life without having to hear it every second of the day.
but i guess everyone has their own taste in books =P
