jacob didnt know edward was a vampire
Jacob knew he was a vampire because they had a treaty and the vampires were “the cold ones” That Jacobs dad told him about.And Edward didnt know he was a wolf(:!
jacob didnt know edward was a vamp jacob found that out when jacob turned into a wolf in new moon and his pack told him. Edward knew jacob was part of the werewolves
Jacob knew Edward was a vampire in the first book because they would give each other glares a lot. Edward didn’t know Jacob was a wolf yet because he wasn’t yet. He didn’t turn into a shape shifter until the 2nd book.
But Edward knew Jacob’s family was descended from wolves. That is why he couldn’t go to La Push beach with Bella. Because of the treaty. Jacob knew Edward was a vampire because of the treaty also.

Im really good with the books and shows&&Edward knew of the wolf family Jacob was close to and that he was soon to become one(he had his feelings that show this in the fist one)&&also Jacob wasn’t familiar with Edward being a vampire until he turned into a wolf and figured out the myths where true.
Neither knew what either was. Though Ed might have realized that Jake had the potential to be a wolf.

Yeah he did. But I don’t think Edward did because Jacob was still human in the first book. He just transformed in New Moon.
