Do You Also Hate The Parts In Twilight Saga Where Jacob Tells The Story?

I hate the and of eclipse. I was totally disappointed at the end.
And I also felt the same in breaking dawn (middle part).
It would be much better when Bella tells the story during the pregnancy …
Her character also totally changed when she got a vampire. Twilight was much better.!!
What do you think??

Well the part where Jacob told the story was less ridiculous and therefore less amusing.
So yeah, I liked Bella’s narration better simply because it was so stupid it was laughable

I liked the part where Jacob told the story in the end of Eclipse, and during Breaking Dawn. The end part of Eclipse (from Jacob’s point of view) couldn’t have been told at all from Bella’s point of view, she had no idea what was going with Jacob at that point in the story.
As for the middle section of Breaking Dawn, if Jacob didn’t tell that part of the story, it would have been really crap.
I got the impression that the whole time Bella was pregnant, she was fairly lethargic, and very boring, and Edward would have been depressed, and boring too. Besides, we found out all the details of her pregnancy through Jacob anyway. Also, if Breaking Dawn was all told from Bella’s perspective, how would we have known about what happened with the pack? Granted, we would have found out eventually, but it wouldn’t have been as interesting, don’t you think?
I like all the characters in all the Twilight books, so i’m not prejudice, i honestly just think that it was necessary to have Breaking Dawn told from two perspectives. Stephanie Meyer did a great job for all of them, i think we should appreciate it a little more. People are too quick to criticize the last book as a total anticlimax, but everyone still read it, and overall, it wasn’t that bad.
Try and keep an open mind, thinking of how difficult it would have been to write the desired book any other way.
    Happy Reading. =)

well during the jacob part, its kinda clear whats going on with her. her whole world is that baby. and besides jacob can rad bella better that edward can most of the time
and u would’t want to be in edwards head during that part because thats pretty clear and he’d be thinking killing thoughts. and if youve read midnight sun, u see how long his thoughts are and how he over anzaliazes everything.

Nope it is refreshing to see someone who isn’t in love with edward and holds vampires or werewolves too high up there. there was humor infused into his pov which was good considering the setting. if it had been edwards pov it all we would be reading would be how much he blames himself and self condemnation and how bad bella is suffering and what other people would be thinking. remember, it was like he was a burning man. bella’s pov would be just as bad because all she would be able to think about is reneesme.

  • Chntl says:

I totally agree with you. During that part of breaking dawn i basically just skimmed through it and it wrecked breaking dawn for me. I would have much rather had Bella’s POV during her pregnancy :)
I liked twilight alot better, breaking dawn was such a waste of time and poorly written.

  • xxxBratt says:

It should be written in third person if the author is going to make sequels. It’s just my opinion though because you don’t get to know the other characters throughout the whole series.

  • Kathryn W says:

I agree. Jacob is not a strong enough character to be telling (parts) of the story.
I think Breaking Dawn was a rush job and could have been a lot better.

  • Shalu says:

no, I love the part when Jacob tells the story.
It’s the perfect break from that idiot bella.

  • zuchien says:

No, Its actually great to see it in someones eye.

  • holly <3 says:

i dont hate it but i wish it was in edwards point of view.

  • Souvik P says:

I’ll do you one better. I hated the whole turkey!
