I personally feel a little bad for him. He loves Bella, too. But I think she’s right with Edward. Edward loves her way more than Jacob, but I still feel bad for him. What do you all think?

I feel really bad for him and love him!!! Don’t get me wrong I love Edward too, but if it wasn’lt for Edward they’ed be together. Hopefully he will imprint so he can forget about being in love with Bella.

Yes, I feel bad for him. But I am still obviously on Edward’s team. And of course, I have that special place in my heart where I hate Jacob. I also have the place for Edward, but instead of hate, it is love.

Well I’m more of an Edward fan but I can’t help but feel sorry for Jacob just a little. But I mean, in the second book (New Moon) they stated that they would only be friends & ONLY friends. So… he saw it coming (: Edward = NO competition.
I LOVE Jake, he’s my favorite character and I like him a LOT better than Edward!

I dislike him. He’s trying to take Bella from Edward. he is immature, and thinks Bella should do whatever possible to stay with him, even if it means letting Edward sacrifice himself to the Volturi. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself and is selfish. I think he just wants Bella to show Edward that he has an effect on her, too. Jacob isn’t right for Bella, and needs to get over it.
The thing is….Jacab is right for Bella in every way…Edward is just perfect for him. I like Jacob he’s like that little friend that you always have through it all but i still feel bad. and at the end of eclipse when he becomes the werewolf spirt thing….omg i was crying so much he tried so hard but lost =[
Yeah, I feel a little bad for him at times. It’s not his fault he’s in love with Bella and stuff. He can be a little immature at times though.
The person who annoys me seems to be Bella though. I hate the way she leads him on. But…I also understand where she’s coming from.
And I hate Edward for being soo perfect. Just kidding! :]
It’s impossible for me to be mad or hate any of the characters.
I do feel bad for him but then again I don’t. He was always trying to get in the middle of their relationship and I think he kinda deserved some of it. But I still feel bad sometimes.
I really don’t feel bad for him, but I’m not trying to be mean or anything. Bella, even though she was being way too flirty with him, told Jacob from the start that Edward was hers and that she would love him for always. But Jacob said he was willing to take the chance of losing her by continuing to try.
For most of the series I felt really sorry for him, but Jacob was becoming more and more of a conniving loser. He tricked Bella into kissing him in the forest before the battle with the newborns (Eclipse), he constantly told her he would never hurt her but did things like leave her with an unknown vampire only to say: I really hope you don’t die. I’m not comparing him to Edward right now, but just in general Jacob was not a good guy. He kept hurting her over and over and kept winning her over again by being “cute”. And what was with him constantly calling the vampires names?
Now, when comparing to Edward.. haha that’s no comparison. Edward would never possibly ever leave her in a situation where all he would say would be: I hope you don’t die. He loved her enough to respect what she wanted, which is why he let her see Jacob, and he only thought of Bella’s feelings when he didn’t call the werewolves names and all.
Jacob is just an all around jerk. I don’t like him, and really don’t feel bad for him. He knew what he was getting into but he was arrogant enough to think that he could steal Bella.
Sorry Jacob lovers, but that’s just my opinion. haha
I LOVE JACOB!!!!! He is soooooo perfect! okay well not quite perfect but he’s still really cool! I do have to say that I love edward more but if things were the way that they were supposed to be, jacob would be with bella. I feel sooooo bad for him, but if bella started loving Jacob more than Edward I would feel terrible!!!! I hope Jacob imprints so he can be happy and so can bella and edward!!!
i’m on team jacob cuz i truly think he’s way better for bella. and i totally feel bad for him. it’s not fair that bella’s stubborn and won’t even consider that maybe jake would be much better than edward. jacob gets the short end of the stick. i can see why he acts the frustrated, immature way he does. it must be terrible for him. and i think jake loves bella more because of what he told her in eclipse:
“You know that story in the Bible? The one with the king and the two women fighting over the baby?”
“Sure. King Solomon.”
“That’s right. King Solomon. And he said, cut the kid in half… but it was only a test. Just to see who would give up their share to protect it.”
“Yeah, I remember.”
“I’m not going to cut you in half anymore, Bella.”

I felt so bad for him at the end of Eclipse. Really. I mean, my heart broke for him. I cried a lot.
He is such a sweet, loving, caring, funny, great boy. He loves Bella so much, he was SUCH a good friend, but all Bella did was use him again and again and break his heart.
It’s so heartbreaking he has to have all the sad endings…a terrible one in New Moon…a much more horrible one in Eclipse.
I think Jake loves Bella more. His love for Bella is more raw and pure. This is proof: He SURRENDERED. He surrendered for the girl he loves the MOST, he surrendered to give her to his immortal enemy, he surrendered despite everything they had, and everything Bella did to him, he still surrendered, knowing how much it would hurt him. And I think THAT is love.

Jacob Black is one of my favorite characters, and yes I do feel sorry for him.
He falls in love for the very first time, and his heart is broken. How can anyone not feel sympathy for him? I don’t think he is selfish at all. He wants Bella to realize her feelings for him; he knows she is in love with him. It would be totally different if he were trying to force unrequited love on her.
I like Edward a lot and I have a lot of respect for him, but Jacob is my heart.
He mended Bella when Edward left. He made her smile again, he listened to her, he even saved her from Laurent. He saved her from Paul, too. He respected her enough to not badger her about Edward and her feelings…that is, until he becomes a werewolf.
Jacob does have his faults. I wouldn’t call him a “conniving loser”, but when it comes to love, all is fair in love and war. Edward is just as conniving when it comes to Bella. When Edward left Bella, he told basically told her she was no good for him and he really didn’t love her anymore. He left her in the forest alone, when he knew she would follow him. I know he did that to save her soul and all that, but still. It was extremely hurtful to Bella.
Edward knew Jacob was listening when he talked to Bella about the 10 best nights and brought up the wedding. He did that on purpose to hurt Jacob—he even admitted it!Edward had Alice prevent Bella from going down to LaPush by having sleepovers. Let’s not forget how Edward disabled Bella’s truck, too.
(One of my favorite scenes is when Jacob shows up on the motorcycle, and Bella takes off with him. That was just brilliant! )Nonetheless, Jacob did do some really lowdown things.)He left the motorcycle with Charlie, knowing Charlie would be infuriated. He kept trying to kiss Bella without her permission. And yes, he called vampires bloodsuckers and leeches.That’s no worse than Alice and Edward referring to him and the pack as “dogs”. Bella even did that.
Jacob even told Bella she would be better off dead than be a vampire, or something like that. That was really cruel, but he didn’t mean it. He only wants Bella to live and be happy.
People like to compare Edward and Jacob’s maturity levels. Edward is 110 while Jacob is 16. Of COURSE Edward is going to be more mature. But I think Jacob is more mature than a lot of the other males in the book, with the exception of Sam Uley. He makes mistakes (like tricking Bella into kissing him) and yes, he does things to hurt people. But he helps to take care of Billy, and he did take care of Bella. He saved her life again and again…from Laurent, from Paul’s attack, when she jumped off the cliff…and yes, even when Edward left her.
Because Jacob is clearly unselfish in his love for Bella, he lets her go. Edward wins. Jacob loses. Game over. Bella’s happiness is what matters most, and she can’t have it both ways. She loves Jacob, but she loves Edward more.
I really want Jacob to find his happily ever after, too. He deserves it. Let him imprint and find his true soul mate.

I felt so sorry for him in New Moon when Bella chose Edward, but you all know that Edward and Bella are ment to be, i just hope that he imprints on someone. and in the last chapter of Eclipse I cried that was such a sad moment for me to read that bit.It just wouldnt be cool if Jacob didnt get anyone. and that Edward and Bella ended up happy.
I adore Jacob!! If for some reason Edward was taken out of the picture in the future, he truly would be wonderful for Bella.
But if that is not destined to happen, I really hope Stephanie writes him so that they can be friends again without any romantic pressures. He deserves to have someone who can commit themselves as completely to him as he will to them.
