Edward sucks– literally. He has no personality and is borderline emotionally abusive. In real life, he’d be thrown into jail for doing some of the things he did in the books.
Jake pwns. He’s got the best personality ever. He’s REALISTIC. He has flaws and problems and makes mistakes. He’s human.
Smeyer ruined his character in the end of Breaking Dawn, though.
EDWARD CULLEN!! OF COURSE!! HE IS SO IN LOVE WITH BELLA THAT HE WOULD ACTUALLY GO AND GET HIMSELF KILLED. I KNOW THAT SOUNDS SICK BUT I THINK ITS CUTE!
JACOB BLACK! He isnt flawless like Edward and that makes him a completely normal teenager who is the best werewolf (shape shifter) EVER!! (along with seth of course. hehe)

I’d have to say Jacob Black. He’s the type of person you meet everyday. Honestly, girls, do you really think you’ll find an Edward Cullen? Get real. I love Edward, I really do but Jacob’s just so…real. He’s someone I’d *want* as a boyfriend. Edward is “perfect”, yet he’s so…boring. Edward is better for Bella, really he is but Jacob is just someone I prefer.
EDWARD……. DUH! sure jacob is more realistic but this is a book about vampires and werewolves! there isnt really any realistic things in this book which is why edward is way better and even realistically edward is way better! jacob is a hairy dog whos a retard! put him where he belongs: the dog pound!
I love them both. But I think how she incorporated them both into the story they balance it out nicely. If I had to choose: Edward by a slim margin. I like who Jacob ended up with and I don’t think he’s a pedafile, it makes sense. Though Nessie seems a little to perfect sometimes, I hope she ends up writing that book from Nessie’s point of view because really what are the girl’s flaws. Edward’s daughter would be a goody goody.
I used to be all about Edward. But now that I have finished the series I definitely prefer Jacob. I realized that he is just more real and funny. I felt like Jacob actually really cared about Bella and wanted her to live a good life. I dunno,Jacob reminds me of like a brother or something. Like a best friend.

I like both of them a lot – they’re unique in their own way. But I think I’d be too intimidated in Edward’s presence – because of his looks, grace, intelligence, and of course, mind reading. Jacob could be a lot easier to get to know, hang out with without feeling awkward and stupid.
I’m team switzerland with a strong, biased love for Jacob. werewolves are more attractive than marble. <3
