People probably love him becasue he’s more cute looking then Edward. I dunno.
Because he is the only realistic and reliable character in the series and still, that’s a stretch.

hey! I love jacob, i like him because he is total opposite to edward,
eg- edward is cold
eg- jacob is hot
jacob is all together more on the wildside, and he makes me think that he would have more fun. Jacob can do things more on the human side with bella, eg- eat and sleep.
Jacob is werewolf, and that attracts me more than vampire.
Jacob is also really funny and can have a joke
they never talk about edward cracking a joke
but i do like him XD

Characters in stories are invented mostly for identification. You can identify with a fictional person but also you can identify with liking a person – or even a (light) version of love for such a character. Not everyone could imagine loving a person as serious and overall gifted and strong like Edward. Many people like the opposite features: funny, young, and (almost) realistic. Almost. Jacob had to show some supernatural gifts or otherwise there would never have been a balance between him and Edward.

The reason to me is jacobs wild. He is a free spirit and could give bella the world. He is very attractive. The reason i felt attracted to his character is he is the opposite of edward the vampire we all came to love. Even so jacob only wanted whats best for bella. I would never have like the character jacob if edward never left in the first place.
i never did like jacob in the books or the movies(although i must say he is incredibly hot) ., and i never will… maybe people like him because they feel sorry for him??? or maybe because how he was still bella’s friend and he understood her really well…
hes easier to relate to. hes vulnerable. he isnt completely devastatingly perfect like ed.
but im totally team edward. haha :]
Because he doesn’t watch Bella sleep every night and is very sweet in New Moon. Nothing against Edward but who watches their girlfriend sleep?
I love Jacob cuz he suffered a lot, and not tht i wanted Bella to chose him. cuz wat if Bella chose Jacob, had a kid (Renesme) and Jacob imprinted on his own dauter!? that would not end up well. Hope this answered ur question!!
