yes there is a premiere of New Moon this year in Sydney in early November. The whole cast are going to be there as well as Stephenie Meyer. And yes its a red carpet event.

They haven’t made any plans yet for the premiere but I know that the movie will be out in the end of this November. You can probably find the red carpet premiere date at stepheniemeyer.com but it’s too early yet.
