What Is The Easiest Way To Explain Twilight And New Moon To My Mom?

So I’m going to see New Moon with my mom and step-dad tonite and they have never read the book.How do I explain Twilight and New Moon to them so that they know what it’s about,but they’re not confused?

they dont need to know anything about new moon cause there about to see it but heres a summary of twilight from Bella’s vewi (I wrote this)
I just moved in with my father who lives in Forks, Washington. I moved here from Phoenix, Arizona where it’s nice and hot all the time. I don’t really like it here. I only moved here because I wanted things to be easier on my mom. Her new husband, Phil, is a minor league baseball player and must move around a lot.
My father, Charlie, got me a new truck. It’s really old, but I still like it. He got it from his friend Billy Black of the Indian reservation. His son Jacob Black is about my age. I was nervous about attending the school. My old school was very large and this one is very small. I didn’t know where I would fit in. I found some friends though. Their names are Jessica, Eric, Angela, Tyler, Lauren, and Mike.
I was interested in a boy named Edward Cullen. He seemed to really hate me. He was in my biology class and he tried to transfer out. I didn’t understand how someone could hate someone else without even really knowing them. Eventually, we got to know each other. And we fell in love. Jacob told me about how his family thought they were vampires. I found out that Edward was a vampire. I also knew that he might want my blood. The problem was, I was completely in love with him.
A hunter tried to attack me, he wanted my blood. Edward was very protective over me and the hunter took this as a challenge. He lured me in by pretending he had my mother. He used her voice from a home video of mine. I went to him willingly to protect my mother. He tried to bite me. I was saved by Edward and his family. When I was in the hospital, I realized I had been bitten and Edward had to suck the poison out. I am very grateful. If it weren’t for the Cullen’s I wouldn’t be alive.
I would reccomend letting them watch twilight though to get all the details and everything.

Given that they’re older, give them something they can relate to. Tell them it’s a lot like the story of Romeo and Juliet, where because of being a part of two opposing families, the two characters who are in love can’t be together. Tell them that in this case, the family of the “Romeo” character is actually a family of vampires, whereas the family of the “Juliet” character is a family of humans.
That should give them something they are familiar with to grab onto, and will probably make them like it better too.

I really don’t know for you but for me, viewing trailers just work like MAGIC!!!
Seriously if you’re as bad as me to explain something (let’s say that among of that
twilight isn’t the easiest thing to explain!) it ROCKS!!!!
And by the way, I’ve let you my personal source to view the movie.
I’d probably see it like HUNDREDS of time, no kidding!

theres a girl and shes in love with a vampire, and she knows about his family.but then edward (her love) leaves her because he beleives hes too dangerous for her
this depresses bella alot, and her friend JAcob helps her go through it. and she finds out that jacob and his family/friends are werwolves, who fight vampires, and are enemies.

say that it is a lovestory between a normal girl named isabella swan that moves to a town name forks.she goes to forks high school and meets an unultimate boy a vampire. his name is edward.there love was so strong. isabella (bella) didnt know edward was a vampire untill she kept finding strange clues about edward.when she googles edward she knew that edward was a vampire.but one day edward invites bella to play baseball with the cullens.the bad vampires called the nomads wanted to eat bella.bella,alice,and jasper runs away to phoenix,but james founds bella

tell them its a romatic story about a schoolgirl, bella who meets a vampire named edward and fall in love.
his being a vampire often puts bella in danger and in the first movie bella almost dies from being killed by a vampire named james, but edward kills james so james’s mate is seeking revenege.
and then just have her watch new moon frm there and she should be fine!
i hope you have fun at the movies(:

Say its about a girl who falls in love with a vampire, then he leaves cos of an accident with his brother so she becomes closer to her best friend jacob black who turns into a werewolf.
