Can anyone explain the scene in Twilight when Edward saves Bella from the skidding van?

I really don’t understand what happened there. I tried rereading ti several times, but I just can’t figure it out. Can someone please explain it in clearer terms, or what you think happened? Thanks.
Okay, got it. He jumped infront of her, got that. It was after he put his arms infront of her is where I got confused. So he stopped the van with his hands, and his hands left a dent, then what the heck happened? Thanks!

Where is New Moon filming at? I heard its filming in Canada ? Will they film in Italy ? And i also heard thAt the movie will show more Edward when he was away from Bella. That would be so awesome but im not sure if its true or rumored do u know anything about that?

Twilight series – Does anyone else want Bella to wind up with Jacob?

I certainly do! I seem to be in the minority, though. Don’t freak – I like Edward and I like him with Bella, but I think Jacob would be a better choice for her.

I don’t know if it was poor casting or just bad acting but it I just can’t get in to the Twilight movie because of the way these two actors make me feel when I watch it. Does anyone else agree? I have read the Twilight Saga and am a fan, of the books anyway, but I’m having trouble getting into the movie. I hope the next next movie is better, much better.

i was REALLY dissapointed when i saw who was playing jacob, i thought they could of got someone that looked older..to me i was picturing steven straight the whole time..is anyone else upset about this???
