  I really don’t understand what happened there. I tried rereading ti several times, but I just can’t figure it out. Can someone please explain it in clearer terms, or what you think happened? Thanks. Okay, got it. He jumped infront of her, got that. It was after he put his arms infront of her is where I got confused. So he stopped the van with his hands, and his hands left a dent, then what the heck happened? Thanks!

I have read this series and I have NO idea who this character is. Can someone tell me who the character is and what is his relevance to the movie?
