to be honest, i think i would have been better off playing the gamecube version instead of the wii. i’d get really tired of waving my arms back and forth to use my sword, and fishing was RIDDICULOUSLY hard with the wii controller, its really hard to explain how to catch fish in this game via text

How do people view atmosphere in games? I think it’s one of the more important features in a game along with gameplay like those two go hand in hand I feel, I just don’t know how to explain it.
Not original? You turn into a wolf, Navi is replaced by Midna, there is a whole different dimension, and Ganondorf is’nt your only enemy. This has to be one of the most original Zelda game.

@DrCommenter I liked WW too. It had a very distinctive style that I’ll remember for years to come, and I liked the humour apparent in every facet of the game. The sense of exploration and discovery when roaming the seas was amazing too.
TP is fun, but I somehow feel like I’ve played it all before…
@thesanduchiha … and what, exactly, makes it so much better? The only difference is the control method. If you didn’t like the Wii version, I doubt you’d find the Gamecube version any better.
@cocoanutv Same here. Maybe I’m just getting older (and therefore finding games to be less challenging than my younger self would have found them), but all of the dungeons/bosses were way too easy. I remember beating one of the bosses in two minutes (no kidding, I saved before the battle and afterwards, and noticed from the play time that only two minutes had passed) :-/
Strangely enough, I enjoyed this game a lot, so I suppose that the old Zelda charm still remains.

This whole game feels like a remixed OoT remake to me. I guess it was made to appeal to the same fanboys that whined non-stop about Wind Waker (which I actually enjoyed immensely).

@Yankeefancameron yep. this dude named givonni gives you stuff for killing them. if you kill all of them, he gives you unlimited rupees, which is good for… no spoilers. you’ll see!

Yeah.. for sure… the Majora’s Mask was a genius with the moon sequence… very amazing and creative.
